So, what are we doing at Bink.Tools during the COVID-19 lock down?
Improve development skills in Angular, Ionic, Typescript and NodeJS. Developing new applications like the Client Area App for holiday clients. Once the booking has been confirmed the App allows the client to see at any time all the booking details and payment status, documentation required before travel etc.
As it is a PWA (Progressive Web Application) the clients do not need to install anything on their device just access the URL and start using the app. This has
many advantages as the app is totally platform independent (Android, Windows, IOS…). Also the app is capable of using the local device features like the camera, GPS, local storage etc.
The PWA technology uses Lazyloading (asynchronous loading). That speeds up the application so that the feel is that of a locally installed app on the device.
The Client Area App is a perfect example of how current development techniques are making complex problems simple and practical for the user.
